Part of the Silent Alert Personal Paging System that allows people who are deaf, deaf blind or hard of hearing to get on with their lives with confidence, this Wireless CO Detector works to identify dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and raises an alarm. This kind of carbon monoxide detector will provide repeated detection without needing to be replaced and is the first CO detector to be officially approved and kite marked.
The unit is used in combination with other hearing equipment such as the Pager with Alarm Clock Charger, Pager with Trickle Charger and SignWave Portable Sounder Unit or vibrating pillow pad if triggered at night - sold separately. Once the CO detector senses potentially dangerous levels of CO gas in the home it will automatically raise a call to a nominated carer.
